1 - Screen Casts
Screen casts allow for teachers to record whatever they are doing on the computer as well as what they are saying. They are great for both visual and auditory learners.
-Remember to keep your screen cast lessons as mini-lessons - no longer in minutes as your students are in age.
-Also first model for students the proper way to actively watch and listen to the lessons so that students don't passively view with no understanding.
-Provide graphic organizers so students can interact and monitor the information they understand as well as what they don't. Tactile learners benefit from while-reading or while-listening activities, such as annotating with graphic organizers.
-Graphic organizers will also help to foster team discussions in class and then synthesize the information.
